Overview: I'll just make a new post each time I feel like a chapter is ready to be posted. Yes, I'm completely making this up as I go along. I may be forced to double, triple, or even quadruple post if I have more than one chapter ready - for example, if I lose internet and type two or more chapters before it comes back up.

History: After the Empire and the Republic began battling again on the planet Zi, natural resources were depleted quickly and the only remaining water had been poisoned to keep the other faction from drinking it safely. Everyone was suffering. he factions fell into disarray and began building huge spacecraft capable of carrying hundreds of Zoids and thousands of humans. Each month, the number of these ships sent out increased, and probes were even sent along with them near the end as everyone desperately searched for a new planet to call home. Then someone landed on the perfect planet; it had an environment similar to that of Zi, but several times larger and non-polluted. They had discovered the planet Juno.
Factions: The few supporters of the original Empire, mostly low-ranking soldiers with no other skills and the highest ranking officers who were loyal to an extreme, attempted to reestablish their nation in the New Empire. It grew quickly and spread across the land. Meanwhile, the old Republic formed two rivaling sides; the main group became the Blood Republic, which was a more violent version of it's predecessor. The group that broke off was far smaller and called themselves the Hunters. Their goal was to destroy both the Blood Republic AND the New Empire. As the factions developed, they took territory and grew. Years later, the territory wars fully broke out.

Thanks, lol. I'm still not sure how realistic all of this is, but it's all I can think of. If something's wrong I'll blame it on the fact that everything on a new planet and many decades in the future. XD

Chapter 1: Raid Gone Wrong
A huge red Shield Liger crouched alongside the worn dirt path, concealed only by the elevated path, which served to hide it from the opposite side. The exposed metal shined a golden color in the sunlight and made it's black claws and fangs all the more distinctive. Two dirty, beige colored Command Wolves crouched next to it, one on either side. Inside the Shield Liger, Arozin watched the path vigilantly for the Imperial supply convoy he knew would be approaching soon.
A plume of dust went up. Arozin tensed and grabbed the controls to his zoid lightly. This was it – the New Empire was about to be really angry. Five towering supply carriers hovered a few feet above the path, each one larger than the seven Imperial Molga zoids that surrounded them.
“Get your cannons at the ready. These Molga should be easy to take out, but be ready just in case,” Arozin said into his microphone.
Two quick responses of, “Yes sir!” came through from his fellow pilots in the desert camouflaged Command Wolves. Several minutes of near perfect silence passed before the convoy passed directly in front of them. Arozin nodded, though his underlings couldn't see him.
The two weaker zoids leaped from their hiding places and landed directly in front of the convoy. Arozin's Shield Liger jumped into position at the back, where missile pods popped out on his zoid's sides, aimed at the Molga guards. A large double barreled cannon on it's back had already begun firing to match his underling's zoids' guns. Four Molga fell and tumbled off the path after getting hit. The three others in the convoy sped towards their attackers, crashing head on into the Command Wolves' legs. The Shield Liger hopped into the air and landed on top of a Molga, tearing a gash in the guard zoid.
A sudden explosion forced Arozin's zoid to look up. Two of the supply carriers had opened their doors, and let a fully armed Cannon Tortoise emerge from each. Both Command Wolves had been hit, but Arozin and the Shield Liger had been on the other side of the convoy. “It was a trap,” he said bluntly into his microphone, “Run!”
He was answered by a moan. One of his comrades' voices came over the radio. “Sir... My Command Wolf has sustained heavy damage... It cannot move even half as fast as before... And a shard of metal impaled me... I think I'm going to die...”
Arozin blinked and forced himself to stay on task; there could be no rescuing the dead. He fired off his laser wildly, blowing a supply carrier off the path and further injuring the two remaining Molga. The Command Wolves were out. One was limping off the path and fleeing haphazardly, while the other had fallen to the ground and caught on fire. Arozin snarled. The Cannon Tortoises wanted to access his radio. He let them.
“Get out of your zoid and come with us! By order of the New Imperial Army, you're under arrest for treason!” a voice crackled over the radio.
Arozin chuckled. “Treason? This isn't treason. This is war.”
“Come peacefully and you won't be destroyed! Our New Emperor only extends this generous offer once!” the same voice came again, louder and a little bit shaky this time.
“Destroy me? You've got it all wrong. I'll extend you the offer of getting out of your zoids and helping me to burn your whole supply convoy. Then you can come to my base and be thrown in jail. Of course, death is always an option,” Arozin said into his microphone, tensing on the controls.
“Then you refuse our New Emperor's generous offer?” a second, more firm voice flowed over the radio.
“Ya. How about a generous portion of missiles?” Arozin said. Less than a second later, all of the missiles in his pods had been fired. A huge explosion forced his Liger to dig it's claws into the ground.
All that was left of the Imperial supply convoy was scrap metal and burning supplies.

That's kind of how it's meant to go, though I'm not sure if Wolverine will be in the high-up ranks of the Hunters or in command of a smaller group.

Sure, but what would your name be? Super? SL? I could use Superliger as a name, but for an actual "character name" it might be a bit weird. I can do it if you like, though.

Sure. Ceazer in a Liger Zero. I think I'll make a "main character" roster in my first post.

Sorry about the double post, but we both knew it was going to happen.

Chapter 2: Ceazer's Mission
Ceazer knelt before Arozin. The Shield Liger pilot was weary from his raid on the supply convoy. A Command Wolf had been lost and another was heavily damaged. Both pilots had died; one from a shard of metal through the gut, the other from loss of blood as he'd forced his zoid back to the base. He did, however, have to keep the Black Dagger, a secretive group of zoid pilots that he led in an attempt to gain power and eventually win the wars, going strong. That meant assigning this new recruit a mission, among other things.
“Grand Master Arozin!” came a call. The doors to his office burst open, revealing a panting pilot streaked with sweat, blood, and grime. “A group of Imperial raiders came through and stole several of our Command Wolves!” The man promptly fainted, his message delivered.
The Command Wolf was the standard issue zoid of the Black Dagger's lower ranked members. “Recruit, please make your way to the hangar and get in a Command Wolf. We're pursuing those raiders.”
“I have a Liger Zero in my possession already, sir. I handle it far better than any other zoid,” Ceazer said. Arozin nodded, and the recruit strode quickly towards the private hangar for pilots using their own zoids and not Black Dagger zoids. Arozin walked to the office's other door and unlocked it with a 4-digit code, letting it swing open to reveal a personal hangar housing his Shield Liger.
The zoid obediently walked over to the platform where Arozin stood, popping it's cockpit open to let him in. The massive hangar door was already open, allowing the zoid to walk around to the private hangar. A silvery Liger Zero walked towards him, and the radio communications opened. “Let's go,” Arozin said, and the two zoids set off, the Liger Zero weighed down by the armor and small laser cannon that wasn't standard, the Shield Liger moving freely. They struggled to match speeds, while Arozin tried to conserve his boosters.
“If those Imperial idiots didn't have a head start, we'd have caught them by now... We should have caught them by now anyways,” Arozin commented into the microphone after almost an hour of the endless running. They were following the tracks of several zoids and the dust of a hover cargo, with no success.
Then a group of tents and Cannon Tortoises appeared in the distance. Speed increased until the pair were stuck hiding behind the hover cargo.
Suddenly the back of the hover cargo exploded, sending the door flying off it's hinges. Smoke poured from the Shield Liger's lasers as they showered the camp with energy bullets. Ceazer's Liger Zero opened fire with it's little laser cannon as well, killing most of the Imperial pilots before they reached their zoids. Two of the Cannon Tortoises stood as their pilots took control, and began firing multiple cannons on the Ligers. Arozin retreated into the hover cargo, followed by Ceazer.
“Guard me from the Tortoises,” Arozin ordered as he jumped from his Shield Liger to the ground, dashing to the control room and starting the engine. The huge craft took a few seconds to start moving, during which the Liger Zero furiously fired it's cannon. Arozin set the vessel on course and ran back out into the cargo bay, climbing his Shield Liger's leg and getting back in the cockpit to help Ceazer. The Imperial pursuers were already sparking and broken, allowing Arozin to fire a few rounds and finish them off quickly.
Then they were free to go back and load up the hover cargo. four undamaged Cannon Tortoises were squeezed into the hover cargo along with the two Command Wolves already in it. Two huge blades were in the spare parts section of the hover cargo, which, to Arozin's hidden delight, fit his Shield Liger perfectly after a few modifications to the shielding system. All he had to add on was the connectors, found alongside the blades.
Then he had a Blade Liger.
Ceazer watched, vaguely amused, as the other pilot struggled and eventually succeeded in converting his zoid. The total gain of the mission had made up for the last one's losses, and that cheered them up considerably on the trip back to the Black Dagger base.

I don't know if you know this already but the Liger Zero can change it's armor for different combat and can combine with two certain zoids called fire Phoenix and jet falcon, I think that would be cool to have that fit in some where.

I knew about the armor thing (kind of) but the other part might be fit in somewhere. The problem there is, of course, my own ignorance.

A few suggestion change thingypit to cockpit. Also the Blade liger is the evolved form of a shield liger......If you keep watching the shows you'll see what I mean.
I like it so far!!! Is there a chapter three?
